Inspired by water colours of India the Prince Regent (later George IV) commissioned the construction of The Brighton Dome. Originally built as a stables and riding school the building was completed in 1805. More recently the venue has gained a reputation for being the south coast’s premier venue for music and the arts. Hosting iconic performances such as Abba winning Euro Vision Song Contest in 1974 with “Waterloo” and the first live performance of “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd. These days The Brighton Dome plays host to around six hundred annual performances by artists from across the entire cultural spectrum.
Spectrum Art & Design Ltd. were commissioned to produce a series of informative and decorative graphics to enhance the re-branding of the venue. The use of our Stencilling process combined with a gold metallic ink produced a striking yet subtle effect that is fit for a king.
