Tate Modern: Ellen Gallagher
In 2013 acclaimed contemporary artist Ellen Gallagher brought her first exhibition to the UK at Tate Modern. Her highly imaginative works combine intricate detail with humour on the one hand and strong social message on the other.
We were honoured to be asked by Ellen to produce a representation of her “Two Dandies” pencil drawing in large scale on the wall at the entrance to the exhibition. Using a combination of In-Situ Screen Printing and hand drawing we were able to produce an image that was consistent with the original and pleasing to the artist and visitors alike.
